04 indy. Boost looks fine, oil pressure looks fine, temp is in range, smooth tranny shifting, and no codes.
After about hour 5 of a 6 hour, I felt like I ran over something, but I just kept chugging along as I saw nothing in the rear view. I then started to notice a grumble, which is only noticeable above speeds of 20mph+, and goes away if the throttle is applied (but then it comes back). Also, whenever I let off the throttle, I hear what sounds like air rushing from somewhere (can hear this while stopped and my ear against the belt system).
Driveability is fine for now, but I don't want this snowballling. It's too dark to diagnose any further, but for when daylight comes out, I'd like a pretty good idea as to where to go. I was thinking maybe a pulley bearing based on where I could hear the sound coming from, but who knows.
Decided to look more. Coolant reservoir and inside of rad appear to be caked in oily sludge. No coolant is appearing in the oil though. LIM gasket? I'd rather this would've happened when I'm not 300 miles from home, damn. If it's the LIM gasket, what are the correct part numbers for the aluminum ones if they still exist?
