Hi guys, I'm swapping over the aftermarket headunit and steering wheel controls to my 2002 tonight and I've got everything good to go except when I plug in the headunit and attempt to play anything I don't get any sound from any speakers. Is it because I haven't bypassed the amplifier in the rear deck? It's going to suck to have to do that again, but I'll do it if it's necessary. Please let me know asap, this is a roadblock for tonight and I might have to call it a night early.

What head unit are you using?

You shouldn't have to bypass the factory amp. I'm assuming you already went back and checked your connections and all that stuff? And that the volume is turned up? lol <--that would be good haha

Yeah I made sure everything was/is secure. I didn't really touch anything when moving it from the 01 to the 02. I turn the volume up on the headunit and I don't get any sound. I do however get the annoying chimes when the door is open..

Kenwood BT945U is my aftermarket headunit.
