hey guys my imp SS tires are gone and am currently looking for new rubber BUT the pricing of 235/55/17s is limited and pricey so my question is can I use 225/60/17s without rubbing issues, looked at 225/55/17 but dont want to go smaller(rougher ride)

I'm pretty sure 225/60/17 are gonna be too tall. 235/55/17 is basically the threshold on height for these cars, otherwise your gonna be rubbing the rear strut plate. The price on all three of those tires is very close by my quick research, so if I were you I'd just get the 235/55/17. The 225/55/17 are not much smaller, but they will look less beefier, because they are narrower
