Welcome. Technically, your '99 Z34 is a Lumina, right? Still all in the same family! My dad's last car before he passed was a 99 Lumina LTZ. He liked that thing a lot, decades of driving Impalas and Caprices.

This is what I was thinking. It's a monte carlo...you can say its a 2 door lumina but its still a monte carlo. theyre still close, but its still different.

Whoa fellas. My bad. I was not bunking on him. I thought that in 1999 there was the 2 door Lumina and four door Lumina and no Monte Carlo and no Impala. What I meant was, literally, the emblem on the car, car registration, and window sticker said Lumina (not Monte Carlo). I was wrong.

Sure it doesn't say Lumina on the Z34, but it pretty much is a 2 door Lumina (which is why I never liked the look of that generation Monte Carlo). Hell a lot of the reviews from back in the day lumped them together... they share a crapload more than the 2000-2005 Impala and Monte Carlo's.
