The lights in my power locks do not work, but the switches do work. The lights in my power mirrors do not work, but the power mirror switch does work for the left side correctly, the right side, the mirror only does not go down. Will replacing the main power window switch cure all of this ? Or will chasing down wires ? Surprised

They are most likely burned out bulbs in the switches...

If you can solder, you can replace them yourself, or I offer LED upgrades to them

Otherwise, you are looking at replacing the switches

The door lock switch lights on both front doors worked before I got a new BCM programmed and installed. The mirror switch lights worked too, now the door lock switch lights or the power mirror switch lights don't work, just the power window switches only... Seems kinda odd that the switches still work, but the lights do not... Oh well, they are easy to replace, might as well do them all at once !

Thanks for the quick reply !

What about powering them up outside of the car? This way you can verify that the problem is the lights and not something else?

tools to do that. I just jumped out of the car and I checked the rear doors, the power windows go up and down, it's just none of the switches are lit, except for the 4 window only buttons on the driver's door. I have read other posts about the "master switch". I am thinking if I replace the whole power window "master switch", then the rest of the lights will come on... Am I wrong in that assessment ?

If I am, then I will proceed to replace one switch at a time until all are replaced... It's not a biggie to me, just something to be doing this fall and winter!

Thanks for all the replies !

The switches in the rear doors do not light up at all

No, the master switch has nothing to do with the lights in the rest of the switches...

if any of your switches light up, then it's not a central issue, it's those switches (or wiring, but not likely)
