Hey guys,

I was driving home today in the cold wind. I went to turn the heat on, and I got nothing but cold air. Made sure my A/C button wasnt on since I had it on defrost and the button wasn't on. What could be the problem?

Another issue I have is my cooling fans won't turn on when my temp gets over the normal temp.

I did hydro lock my engine up but that was an issue already solved. However I am worried what could go wrong with the engine, or how much engine life I have left. I have 96,xxx on it and still runs like a champ. but im still worried.

Make your comments. thank you!

I got the blend air actuator ordered and should be in tomorrow. I found where its located, and it's one the worst spots possible. i'll let you know how it goes for me.

Alright, so I put the actuator in. It took roughly 2 hours, to take everything off and put back on. Those directions on your post helped a lot! thanks for you help! food for thought, use a 5.5mm socket instead of a 6mm. 6 was too big for the 2 bolts i had to take off.

yes true. I have pulled it apart to check things out and its all plastic gears. the funny thing is that the big plastic gear was stuck so I shaved the plastic holder a bit regreased everything and now it works. don't know why I didn't thin of it before. I understand how hard it is because I'm also not the smallest person in the world hahahaha

the URL in this reply was the best directions I found. Basically, you take the whole bottom of the driver side dash off including the metal plate underneath. it's behing the center console behing a wiring harness
