I found a large rust hole going into the cabin air spot, bypassing the filter. I fiberglassed the hole and put in a new cabin filter. This car has way too much rust for my liking. I sold it last week and bought a 96 Pontiac Trans am, LT1 with a 6 speed.

I love my new car and I am very thankful to all of you here on NAIOA. I plan on buying the W-body cars but now just to resell.

Thanks for all the help
Albert

actually to be honest, I sold my Impala for $3500.00 and bought this for $3500.00.

It is in really good condition. I just couldnt find happiness in any other car but the Trans am.

Wow. 3500 bucks? There's no hope in hell of picking one up in good shape around here for that price.

Nice car. I approve.

I wont say that I ind them all the time but I do see them alot around here. It just depends how much you want to do to the car will dictate what you spend. Mine needs very little and has no rust at all with cold AC ( very important here in Florida), new tires....
I can keep an eye out if you or anyone is interested
Thank you for your approval Cool

In my F-Body searches, I noticed that green was always the cheapest color.

I personally don't like green cars, but it looks nice on that older TA. Great buy Smile

I never noticed the correlation in price vs color, but generaly red and yellow are more expensive white is associated with fleet or work type vehicles and usually the cheapest, black is hard to find in good shape but desirable. Green was not my first choice but I based my decision on mechanical and overall condition but new red was not an option for colors. Your Camaro color is not common at all, I may have seen 1 or 2 in recent memory. Not the top of my list of colors but rare none the less and worth keeping. Good price too... Great buy for you also. Cool

I disagree. I think green, preferably a darker green, looks good on cars.

Its an aquired taste, the more I look at it the better is seems to look, but im sure there is some kind of bias there... As long as its clean and not faded or peeling it looks good, more times the not I see green cars with paint in poor condition. Kinda like nobody want to take care of the green cars, Laughing .. Red is either faded pink or well taken care of, same with black. Most silver cars seem to hold up the best and you really dont see them peeling or faded. Just my observations Confused
