Im just curious to know if anyone tried the 18" mazda Rx8 wheels on an impala. I can get a set for 400$ And am contemplating on buying them but unsure how well they would suit the car.

Mazda's normally have a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, which is wrong for our vehicles.

Seems as if the W-body is the black sheep and doesn't use a 114.3 Bolt pattern like every one else. Laughing

If it is 114.3 it will work, but will be technically the wrong pattern.

These cars are 5x115 mm bolt pattern. THAT IS ALL THEY WILL TAKE. Nothing else works, period. That's all I have to say

same sickness spreads to the LXForum since they are all 5x115 also. Same "close enough" argument, same broken wheel studs

Yeah, but it is going to be different for me. Even though 1000 people have tried and failed, it is so close, I know it will work......

if you want to endanger your own safety, along with all those who enter your car while in motion, go for it. Personally i think it is the stupidest thing i have heard in a long time. IT DONT FIT BUT KINDA DOES SO LETS PUT EM ON. stupid. Oh yeah, once you break some s**t on your car, you will be out 400$ on the wheels that dont fit, but you will be out the damages when something breaks. If they are on there long enough, it is inevitable. Happy driving.
