Well, not so much detailed as much as exterior restoration. Had really bad swirl marks, so we stripped the years of wax (probably about 9 or 10 coats), resealed, and got a nice fresh coat of wax. Even though couldn't get all the swirl marks out, looks a hundred times better.

It appears that he has had a few run ins with something and his front ground effect. That being said, a kit like that definitely takes your car out of the daily driver category.

They're not 17's. Those are 16" SLP wheels. I would imagine that they are 225/60/16. Unless he went with a shorter sidewall. I agree that it doesn't look "normal" but I'm not sure why anyone would try to lower the car, with only 16 inch wheels, by running a smaller sidewall.

Iffy.. that front end got in a fight with a trailer, didnt' win Very Happy

Also, the tires are 225/50/16 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS/DS. That was the largest sidewall option. Sits the car a little lower than I'd like, but I still have a hell of a good time driving it!

Thanks for the great compliments.

Why did you opt for a tire that didn't come in the proper fitment? There's so much wrong that comes from running a tire that's 1.7" too small. Your speedo reads fast, the odometer adds more miles than you actually drive, and potential transmission issues. I just can't think of a single reason why you would run that tire.

Did you forget about my HPTuner? Don't worry, computer know's exactly what's on there. I've talked to much shi* to be one of them guys! Plus, the incredible amount of grip gained greatly outweighs the slightly thinner tire. As far as my transmission goes, the tire size are the least of my worries Wink

Yeah, I must have forgotten about that. It can't help the wheel gap though. There has to be a proper tire that performs as well, if not better than what you're running now. I'd never be able to get past the wheel gap. It doesn't seem to bother you though.

No, it bothers me. I've been thinking about getting 17's for the longest time. I just can't justify spending a crapton of money on new tires and rims when that's exactly what I did already. Had I not underestimated the drop, I woulda gotten 17" rims and tires to fit then. These tires have only a little over 1000 miles on them. So, maybe if somebody is willing to buy them.... Very Happy
