So went to look at some wheels just to see if they fit and they looked so good, I bought them. They're wheels of a 2008 Charger R/T Daytona. 18x7.5, offset of 24mm. It already had 235/45/18 tires on it so I threw them on the car and guess what?? They fit! I'm very suprised but they look good. I put them back on today and took some pics. Haven't gotten to drive with them on yet because I need to get new tires but I can't see that anything would rub. The front tires stick out maybe 1/8" I'd say less. The rears have plenty of room. In the pictures, the front tires are slightly turned as you can see so I didn't get a perfect picture of how flush they are, but it's pretty close.

I love them! Reminds be somewhat of the newer ltz wheels but way more agressive. Here's a lot of pictures! And please don't mention the SS decals... I know you guys don't like them and I will get around to getting them off but I'm just too busy these days. I picked up the rims within 2 hours of finding out about them lol. Let me know what you think! They're machined with black behind.

Yes, Yes I did it Twisted Evil

Those look REALLY good. They're a good look for that car!

<obsessivecompulsive>The only issue I would have is that I couldn't stand to have another manufacturer's logo on my car (i.e. the center-caps).</obsessivecompulsive>

I'd be interested in hearing how it drives when you get a chance. Are those wheels heavy?

those are some small tires for a Charger, the 18's on my 300 are 225/60/18 and should be the same across the platform.

www.billettechnology.com

they make replacement center caps for the Charger wheels, wont be cheap, but you can get them either plain or custom CNC milled.

That's some horrendous wheel gap. The gap kills it for me, fix it and they'll look pretty good.

The Dodge rims work well. Cool Replace the center cap though if you can, might confused people. Laughing

That was my first thought too. 235/45/18 is small for an Impala too. Ideal size is 245/45/18.

The only good thing about the undersized tires and your terrible wheel gap with a stock suspension is it might be saving you from rubbing the tire all over the inner fenders over bumps. That certainly wouldn't work with the proper tire size combo if you were lowered.

Thanks! You can probably pick them up cheap. These only cost be $250.

I think they suite it well too. I don't like the center caps either lol. And I did weigh both the stock tire and wheel and these. Suprisingly, they're lighter. The stocks were 26.6 pounds and these were 24.2 pounds, so 2.4 pounds lighter!

Lol first thing that came to my mind about the center caps was PBSS. Idk what I'd want to do but I'd be fine with plain if it was cheap.

Ya I think so too, just more agressive

Ya two tires came with the 235/45/18's and the other two had the stock 235/55/18's on them. The person said they replaced those when they went bad, but with a smaller size? Bet that looked bad.
Thanks for the site! Ya it's a little expensive. Got any other alternatives?

nightryder wrote:

Actually, idk why the gap looks so big. The tires are only 1/4 inch shorter than stock. It's about the same gap as stock, just the wheels are sticking out further so I think that really brings it to attention.
I still do plan on lowering but idk if it will work.

I don't think it has a chance in rubbing now, and I don't think it would even with a 245/45/18, but lowered a 245/45/18 certainly would I would think. I do plan to lower still so we'll see if the combo will work. I don't doubt the back will, it doesn't even look like it would hit without rolling the fenders in the back. But, like I said, I'll just have to do it and see.

Eh, I don't think it looks too bad with 18's. With 20's yes it def looks small lol.

I do have some questions. How do I know if I can use my stock lug nuts, or what style to use with these rims? And also, idk what the bore diameter is on these. Reason I ask is because it seems a little wierd when I put them on. When I set them on the lugs I'll push them on as much as I can, but then the lug nuts tighten in back further than I could push it on? Is this normal? My stock one's didn't do this so idk. Anything else I need to do when installing rims besides these, and balancing of course?

you can measure the hole and order some cheapo ones from ebay. I know BT is $$, but their work is top notch. I have a bunch of their stuff on the 300

It looks like it has terrible poke up front. Lower it, get the right tires, and give it some negative camber so it doesn't look so much like a jeep.
