I have a silly question. How do you remove the shifter handle to switch the gear selector cover?
Mine has a crack right over the N, and I have a 01 Impala LS that I'm sending to the auction so I figured I would take a few of the odd and end pieces.
Thanks in advance

There's a clip that holds it on. Pull the shift boot down and look near the front of the shifter. You should see the clip. You'll have to use a tiny screwdriver to remove the clip.

Thank you WhiteLightnin

I found that using a 90 degree pick worked the best. I never saw the clip, it looked like a piece of plastic. All done
