I may need to change the Coil Pack or Ignition Control Module since my car does not start. Which one should I buy from RockAuto?

Ignition coil:

(1) ACDELCO Part # D555, {10482928} replaces 10482928, COIL,IGN
(2) ACDELCO Part # E530C {#89056799}, COIL,IGN 4 DOORS

(1) or (2)? I need to buy 3 of them, correct?

Ignition Control Module:

(3) ACDELCO Part # D1998A {#10489422} USED WITH GASKET KIT 1989579.
MODULE,ELEK IGN CONT(W/O COIL)

Is (3) the correct one for my car?

Thanks,

[/u]

For the coils, use three of a D555 if your want to replace all of them.

For the module, use D1998A.

Well, the 3.4L has two crank sensors. One on the block and one on the front cover. Here are those...

block = 213-418

cover = 213-330

Thanks so much for the response.

My friend has a 2003 Impala, is it okay for me to put his on my car to test without any damage to his?

I mean, the entire parts with coil pack, coil seal, ignition control module, and bracket (With my plug wires).

As long as it's a 3.4L also, you should be fine.
