The past few days I have been getting in my car and no matter if it is dark or light my headlights come on, and every time they are on my "service vehicle soon" light comes on. I have tried setting the parking brake then turning the car back on to disable the head lights and it works, sometimes, but then a few minutes of driving and the headlights come right back on and the "service vehicle soon" message comes on.

**Note** I recently hooked up my aftermarket sub woofer and amp in the car and used the parking lamps fuse as my hookup for the remote wire (may have something to do with it)

If anyone could help that would be great!

What year? What trim level?

Sounds like your DRL relay or something related to the DRL system. Try swapping the DRL and headlight relay and see if it fixes the issue

Connection your amp to the parking lights fuse is a bad idea. There is a remote turn-on wire on the back of the factory deck. It's pin B3 (white)

2000 3.8L LS.

I have since unplugged the remote wire from the fuse.

Is the DRL and the headlight relay both in the box on the drivers side?

DRL relay is under the hood, Headlight relay is in drive side panel

Also, check the 15A DRL/EXT fuse under the hood and see if it's bad

Yes, but if your problem goes away during the day, you will know it's the DRL relay and you can replace it... I wasn't suggesting leaving it that way

Also, if the relays are 'different' find one that is the same as the DRL relay and swap them instead

Opened up each fuse box when I got home. I found the DRL relay but could not locate the headlight relay. On the fuse box panel it has one side locating all of the inside device fuses and the other locating the outside device fuses. Well the outside device fuses are nowhere to be found, instead it is just a bunch of wires going into an off white panel. Where is the headlight relay?

Just find a relay that is the same as the DRL relay and swap it in.

Before you do that, check the DRL/EXT fuse and make sure it's good

Any possibility it might simply be the light sensor on the dash that has gone bad? I know that might be an obvious one but it was just a thought......

That could be a possibility. I am going to try and mess with the DRL relay first and if that doesn't work then it is probably the sensor.

The other day I was messing with it and I don't know what I did or screwed up but now...

1. My airbag light comes on and stays on.
2. The power locks don't work on the front or rear door on the driver side, even when i use my keyless entry(but work fine on the passenger side)
3. The power lock button on the driver door doesn't work. (works fine on passenger door)
3. After i turn my car off the radio usually stays on until I open my door, then it goes off, but now it just stays on... its like it is not detecting my door being open(but the passenger side door will shut it off as normal)

Any help...?

probably sent an electrical shock through the system and fried the BCM. They are really sensitive and cook easily.

Did you check/change the fuse like I suggested?
