Current: Plasti-dipped rims, grille, ding guards, and the moulding on the front that runs even with the ding guards.

Thinking about a stripe (if you would call it that?) along the creases on the hood. I can't decide whether I love it or hate it. What do you guys think? It would, of course... be done in plasti-dip, like everything else I've painted on my car haha.

And this one, I'm pretty sure I don't like it, but I figured what the heck, I'll post it up.

What's the worst that can happen? You don't like it and you have to peel it off.

I like the second one better (the one with the "faux" SS stripes). The first one with the huge single stripe just looks too heavy to me.

I see a silver Mazda 3 with the hood-crease area plasti-dipped. I never really cared for it, but it is definitely different than everything else and would make him easy to spot.

I would do regular, paralell stripes and an outline surrounding them. It'd be a hell of a lot of taping, though. Think 69 Chevelle stripes.

x2, IMO the stripes would look better if you brought them all the way down your front bumper as well, but leave the grill the same.

I think solid black looks better (imo) then the stripes just cause with 2 stripes would only look good if they ran across the whole car.

I never knew they put stripes on a 69. I think the double stripe would look neat.

70-72 is where you would recognize them, I just like the 1969 better. In 69 they were done by dealers on some cars - not at the factory.

Oh didn't know that. Too bad they don't do that kind of stuff anymore. Sad

x2 although to be fair I don't like the look of painting stripes ( aka Go-Faster Stripes ) on any car.
