oil changed 2 k ago but i got oil pan gasket leak.....gonna go check my oils lvls
UPDATE: oil lvl is 100%, started it up heard it for 10 seconds and it went away.
just to let you guys know i only hear this when im parked beside a wall/car and my windows open so its not super loud but i like my smooth running engine and dont want it sittin at a light tickin lols
I think you have the 3800 and idk how this pertains, but I know 3400's tick pretty heavily when started and even when warmed up, the engine isn't that quiet, especially when next to a wall, car, etc like you mentioned.
2002 Impala- SSC, AGX, 18" charger R/t rims w/8mm spacers, Magnaflow cat, U-bend delete, flowmaster 80 series crossflow, z28 tips, HAI, debadged, 35% tint, smoked headlights, full sound system
make sure the upper and lower intake gaskets are good and the coolant and oil aren't mixing.
If they are good, just make sure she's full on oil...most cars have do have a bit of a tick or even piston slap to them until the oil gets worked through all the moving parts and the metal expands, but if you've never noticed it before, just check the UIM and LIM gaskets to be safe...
