Whats goin on everyone? My name is Chris and I found this site while researching my newly purchased, 2004 Impala SS Indy Edition. I didn't realize they made only 4000 or so of these things. I bought it to replace my old daily driver(98 Malibu), now idk if I want to be driving it everyday!

I'm a Heavy Equipment Mechanic by day, going to school for Computer Engineering by night. I like cars, drag racing, etc. I own a 1998 Pontiac Formula with plenty of aftermarket go-fast parts. It's in need of a tune however, so I've had it parked. Before that car, I owned a 1990 Firebird that started life as a 3.1L v6, had a brief stint with a LC2 3.8L Turbo V6 from an 87gn, and currently has a 6.0L LQ4 V8 in it. I also owned a 2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Limited Edition. I've always been into all things LSx, and decided it was time to get back into the 3.8L stuff.

Here are my cars, enjoy!

Does anyone know how I would be able to find which car of the 4000+ there is?

You can try to contact GM to get the number of the car, but you won't get a copy of any of the documentation, that goes to the original owner and stays there.

cac@chevrolet.com

You can try that email address to see if they can look it up for you with the Vin.

Love the F-body, currently in the market for a v6 as a DD Very Happy
