I am thinking of getting some new component speakers for my front doors. Only thing is that i have no idea where to put the tweeters. No real "smart" and factory looking place to put them. Any experience with where you put tweeters and ideas is appreciated.

Take your pick. Laughing

In all honesty, I'd find a way to mount the tweeter somewhere near where Crazydayz has his in the second picture.

I can't speak for the Impala, but on both of my cars it's an empty space. I'd say pull the door off, check it out and take some measurements. I'm sure you could make it work.

Go with the spot on the second picture. That's the same place i put mine. I took my door panel off, drilled a hole and slide the tweeter in. It sits nice and flush. Doesnt stick out at all.

I installed mine in my front pillars. I think they look pretty factory. Just used a hole saw and the wiring wasn't that hard either. Only pic I have at the moment lol. That's my pup riding shotgun. Very Happy
