The Black b pillar cover deals on my car have seen better days, I think a nice new coat of paint is what the doctor ordered. Are they removable? If so How?
-Thanks! Matt

when i got my car painted, my painter told me they werent...
so i dont no if its tru, but he painted them and they look good tho, i did em black pearl, and my paint job is pearl white, so i thought it was pretty cool,
but anyway, i did look to verify when he said that, and it looked to be rivited on..because there is a screw, but when u take that screw out, it still stays in place,

You need to remove the window trim/gasket at the bottom of the windows, should be 1 screw on the forward doors, and 1 or 2 screws on the back doors. Then roll the window down and pull the window gasket down and away from the trim piece. You'll have to drill out the rivets that hold the trim on, but it can be resecured with small screws.

Fun fact, the Impala door top and side trim pieces are riveted on and a pain to remove. But the Grand Prix pieces used screws, and I have gathered a bunch of those screws for when I redo my trim pieces. Very Happy

Funner fact, when I tored down a bunch of GP doors, they all were missing random screws, gotta love old GM quality control. Laughing
