Im about to redo my shocks struts and sprigs. Im going with the kyb gr-2 since ive heard good things and theyre affordable. I have 20" rims and would like to lower. But i already scrape in the back with big bumps due to speakers in the trunk or with passengers. What modifcations could i make to solve this? ssc or vogtland?

Lowering springs will just compound your problem. What you need are springs that sit higher. I know some of the GP guys run rear Intrigue springs to combat rear end sag, but I don't know of anyone on here that has done that. (also I believe someone put 9C1 springs on his Imp and it raised the car as well).

I am lowered with SSC springs and 20" wheels and a lil rear fender rolling and you should have no more rubbing issues. All you need is a mallet, heat gun, and some guts.....at least i did, taking a hammer and beating my fender into submission was hard to stomach!
