If by hood vents, you mean hood scoops, then yes... but it's not advised as they often look like s**t...

I liked that one guys hood (cant remember who it was). It was on a black impala, but it wasn't just scoops you slap on. It was like a $800 hood. he got ride of the impala or whatever and was giving it away for free. too late for that though

I don't get it. Why scoops?

By that picture of the red impala it looks like her bra is covering up the air intakes.

Is this like one of those rice sticker things? The more scoops you add give you more sticker horsepower? I mean if a sticker give a honda 15 hp, then a scoop on an impala should give you at least 30 hp right?

You could get one from Rockauto for $20. You'll need to get the emblem, but still...way cheaper than that site.

http://www.rockauto.com/catalo.....?pk=691075

The part # on rockauto is GM1200503 if you wanna just search for it on the site.

it could be beneficial, say if your supercharged and you have a filter right on the Throtle body, all outside air coming in those vents would go directly to the filter. not hugely beneficial but im sure its beats our F.W.I(no bends/tubing)

You guys are missing the fact that the scoops on the red Impala I posted are non-functional 3M taped on hood scoops. They aren't doing jack but looking ugly.

Even a Ram-air style hood is only good above certain speeds and has to be routed/handle the air properly as to not soak the filter or electronics while driving in inclement weather.

I personally don't see the value or point unless the scoops are going on a car with a carb on it.
