From my past experience, the ONE time I drove with the low fuel light on, it turned on the second I got into the gas station. I got about 15.8 gallons. So that means there was about 1.2 gallons approximately left in the tank. Note - I now never let the tank go under 1/4 of a tank being that the fuel pump is IN the tank, and is cooled by the fuel that is in the tank. If you drive around with the Low Fuel Light on often, you'll eventually overheat and burn up your fuel pump.

Well, you have a 17 gallon tank. I would say about 1.5 to 2 gallons left.

It really depends on how your fuel level sender float is doing. For years, when my low fuel light went off I only needed 12.5 gallons to fill up. When the car as new, it would need closer to 15.5 if the light went off. As such, I usually fill by mileage these days.

Pretty much like everyone else, I have about 1.5 gallons left when the light comes on.
