This looked like the correct forum ...said electronics/ audio visual
Has anyone reset the circuit breaker on their door lock motor and how it is done...mine stopped working on the driver side....going to take the trim panel off today and have a look. My understanding is there is 12v applied to the motor and when the switch or clicker is pressed the PCM connects the motor to ground completing the circuit the C2 connector. The C1 connector is for the door ajar sensor.
well the schematic shows a circuit breaker in the door lock actuator. No outwardly way to reset.. my actuator is dead...connected my DMM up to the C1 terminals and when I press the door lock i get a momentary 12v. No one has an actuator...NAPA can get one Monday afternoon and Chevrolet Tuesday.
a week or so later
Well if there is a cicuit breaker it is internal. When I get the new actuator the old one gets busted open....here is a vid to help anyone with the same project
