well since my car has been hit by doors and shopping carts i decided it was time to get it repainted. im doing it all myself cause im bored and figure i could pull it off.
I started by sanding the car with 220grit knocking down the clear.
I then fixed all the dents and deep scratches.
I blacked the car out then added silver metallic on top..... right before i cleared the car i decided i was going to change it up by adding red flakes....so right now the project is on halt until i get the red flakes in.

i havnt not decided how im going to do the red yet. im thinking doing a two tone again but not set on it yet. here it is as it sits

tails were tinted by adding black to clear just like flip does in the pic they are really dirty

any suggestions on what to do with the red flakes will be nice.. like i said car sits with no clear ontop the metallic

it'll look sweet with the red flakes forsure cover the whole car lightly in them. What are your plans fo the rims?

I didn't see this thread earlier, but reading through, I kinda figured metallic silver with red flake would look a little bit pink. Confused

1. I have the slp spoiler

2. door panel was off cause it was getting painted black and my dog chewed it up so i dont have one right now.

3. reverse light are off the shelf at advanceauto

4. vent visor was off so i could tape the window off easier.

5. the silver and red dont make pink, just silver and red.... the car looks maroon from a distance

i only have crappy phone pics. 2 from before wetsanding and one after i wetsand but before i washed the car Smile

The car looks really red in the pics but its because the sun was out in mid summer.

Right now the car is dirty cause like i said i dont like the way it came out. so ill sand it all down spring time and redo it without the flake or maybe just the silver cause i kinda liked that better
