ok so i just bought a used trans from a 03 monte carlo 3.4. I have a 03 impala 3.4 is there anything a need to know in order to swap n the monte carlo one?

Id service it real quick. Drain the fluid out and replace the filter in the it... Other than that stick the thing in the Impala and see if it works

being the monte is a "sports car" wouldnt the gearing be different? if so i wouldnt be sticking it in the car and finding out the gear ratio is wrong CURSE

3400 Imp and 3400 Monte 4t65e have the same gear ratio.

Ok that sounds goo that wasz one of my worries was the gea ratio. Is there anything else I should worry about? I'm going to change out the pcs solenoid and shift solenoid n also install the intense shift kit. Anything else I sould check or change out while I have it out be4 I install it
