I have several bulbs out throughout my car, starting with the exterior i would like to replace them.

The ones out are:
Left Rear Side Marker
Right Rear Side Marker
Liscense Plat Bulb

IIRC the side markers, alonge with the plate bulbs, are both 194 bulbs.

Would these work for all the above?

i've only replaced bulbs with non led bulbs, so when it comes to LED i have no idea what to look for. Thanks for the help.

I tried some LEDs in my side markers and license plate lights. The sidemarker's worked OK, but the LEDs were too directional for it to function as it was designed, so I took them out. I also had a problem with the license plate bulbs on my car (I'm not sure if they are the same way on the Impala) in that the hold blocked almost all the output of an LED. I would need to track down a 90* bulb for that application.

Almost every Impala on the road has burned out rear side markers. Looks better without them Laughing

So from that information, I am going to just use regualr bulbs. Might as well just take the advice, instead of trying to use LEDs. Thanks iffy.

It's probably also dependent on the type of bulb you purchase. I know mine were bright enough, they just failed to put off the light in a useful direction for the side markers and license plate.

what are these rear side markers? The lights above rear passenger doors? For those im using either red xHP or x5s. They work really well, but being red they're for looks and not reading. : ) If you want me to check shoot me a pm.
