So I was at a bbq for the fourth all day yesterday, and when I went to leave that night, my car wouldnt start, slow cranking like a dead battery, so We jumped it and it started, it seemed to run fine all the way home, and when I went to start it this morning same thing, battery reads 12 volts, but starter just cranked like two times, and now just clicks. I have a buddy on the way to jump me, and then I will check the alternator. Any Ideas? No fuses seem to be blown. Fan turns on and windows and locks work.
EDIT: this came out of nowhere, no issues in the past just last night and today. In my paranoid state of mind, I took off my alternator rewire, unhooked my amp for my subs, and took out the tach i put in. I was afraid once i hit 100k i would begin to have catastrophic issues, is this the start?

Likely the battery, that's the way these new ones go without warning. Just because it shows 12V doesn't mean it has the capacity to start the car. (BTW, should read around 13V if it was healthy.) Start there, then if the issue persists, have the Alt checked.

I was reading another thread about batteries and I am guessing this is year 11 on the acdelco. NO signs in the maintenence charts that it was replaced so I suppose its time. Does battery brand really matter that much? The best stuff we have around here are Schwabs or Tirefactory batteries. I suppose I could go to walmart lol, or schucks, or autozone but they are all like 30-40 miles away....

Go to Kmart and buy a DieHard Gold and call it a day...

And I agree... most likely the battery (or a slight chance it's a loose battery cable)

EDIT: A good battery with the car off (and fully charged) will read 12.6 Volts (some alternative chemistry batteries will differ slightly)

Well it ended up being the battery. But now I am having another issue. I think the Milzy Pcm I have was messed up either by the dead battery, or being jumped. The shifts are super sloppy, and really slow. I am hoping it just needs to relearn. Or else it's a new PCM for me.

The Delco batteries I have had usually lasted about 3 years. If you got 11 out of it, your well ahead of the curve.
I usually try to get the Interstate Megatron, have had good luck with them.

give it a little while. since the pcm was disconnected from the battery it just needs to "relearn" the shift points again. if i disconnect my battery for a little while it will do the same thing.
