Been working slowly on the car the last 2 months, with 8 or 9 coats of Zaino on the car, and finally completed my HID retrofit after 6 months of slow progress, procrastination, anger and copious amounts of Profanities. The pictures do no justice, Its impossible to Photograph in This Dungeon like Arenas.
Also got me some more Boom.

That car is gorgeous. Are you planning on making a plate of some sort to go around the projector? I want to do a retro-fit so bag b/c mine fog up but I just don't have the money. Are those 6000k? In one pic they look like 6000k but another they look like 5000k
2002 Impala- SSC, AGX, 18" charger R/t rims w/8mm spacers, Magnaflow cat, U-bend delete, flowmaster 80 series crossflow, z28 tips, HAI, debadged, 35% tint, smoked headlights, full sound system
Looks great - Zaino rules. If folks have never tried Zaino, they cannot possibly comment on how it compares to all other products. It is, quite simply, the best, and I have tried every product out there, except for some of the cheap crap.
I too agree that you need to Plastidip or Liquidome the bowtie.
Awesome looking car.

My original plan was to have no shrouds, but that was because I was going to use FX-Rs. I ended up buying Morimoto Minis cuz I didn't have the time or patience to make the FX-Rs Fit (they are Basicly the size of the whole Reflector bowl, which was a new can of worms due to their weight and how much of the housing I had to cut out). Problem is these throw way too much light out the sides to be left like this.
To be honest though I'm not digging the look, I preferred the Halo lights better. Not sure if i wanna just sell them instead of finishing them. Still need to fine tune the aim cuz the Highbeams aim bout 6 feet in the air @ 25 feet, and i need to do something about the back access covers.
($500 and they can be yours, including bulbs/ballasts and a H11 harness. )

i think you missed the dot between the first two zero's and an extra zero at the end. exchange rate and all..... LOL and i finally put my black liquidome on the grille of my imp, courtesy of my friend TSS. buh byee blingy gold bow tie. now to debadge the trunk lid of that other gold wart. peace, john
The FX-R's would work, but it would take alot of work and alot of cutting to fit. Personally If you don't have the time or patience, I would go with the Morimoto Mini H1 Projectors. The end result just isn't as NICE (IMO of course). It's the easiest method, and I wish I went that route from the start. Mine are still way out of adjusted (adjuster is maxed out and the right side is barely @ the correct Height, yet High beam aims 6 feet up).
