Well I took my car to a new auto car wash today. The damn sprayers took off part of my decals (part of the a on the impala and part of the first s) and most of the rest is starting to come off now... Anyone know where to get new decals?

Also does anyone know how much touch up paint at the dealer is? Got some chips in the paint on my hood want to get rid of

Are you going to hold them responsible?? I would check a local junkyard, here, or ebay.

I wouldnt get them from a junk yard, getting them off in 1 piece is very hard, then you will need to cut double sided tape to fit them.

Check with ZSPOT here, he can get you a price on new ones. Also, they arent decals, they are emblems. This will help you in your search.

It's very well might have been that way. I've got a few letters hanging on to the adhesive by a thread on my Intrigue. I'm sure if I took it to a wash, they would get stripped off too.

i never take my car to machine washes unless its the winter, then i get touchless to get salt off. That sucks though about the decals.

I think the same way. But the high pressure sprayers in the touchless car washes strike me as being just as hazardous for loose emblems (or loose paint) as the brushes are. So you wanna be careful there, too.

They aren't cheap.

When I was looking for them, I think ZSPOT quoted me about $90 each. But don't quote me on this one since it was over a year ago.

Not what I wanted to hear, but a lot better then buying them at a dealer.

If you search for '94-'96 Impala SS parts on ebay, you might come across them.

EDIT: Here you go. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors.....ccessories

I'm pretty stupid and i managed. You don't have to cut it perfectly.. just cut little pieces and place them together.
