If anyone goes on PFYC to check out their WheelSkin steering wheel covers, you might find a familiar looking interior as an example of how good they look Wink

I've been on the edge to get one of those for my impala. I didn't know that was yours! How nice are the covers? My steering wheel is starting to wear pretty bad.

I love it. They are sooo tedious to put on, but the finish and quality is fantastic.

Took me 90 minutes to put it on. I also put one on my parents' 06 SS because they loved mine so much.

There's took me the same amount of time. Now my girlfriend wants one on her 07 Impala. My poor fingers!!

It takes so long because you have to stitch it onto the wheel, there are so many little holes and you have to pull a long thread completely through the whole time, and you have to make sure everything is pulled as tight as you possibly can.

Trust me, it takes a while but 100% worth it lol.

Here's a close-up of the stitching you have to do.

I didn't know they involved stitching. That would me much better in the long run though versus one that just slides on. Hoping they provide the thread.

They provide more than enough thread, and it's wax coated, kind of like dental floss.

That's why it takes so long, you have twice the needed thread it feels and you have to go through the wholeeee amount each time you pull a thread through the hole.

Those look pretty slick. I need to do something with the steering wheel in the Intrigue (it's all cracked and falling apart) and this might fit the bill. Might consider one for the Monte too, if I can ever figure out my damn misfire problem.
