This used to happen to me all the time. I upgraded a 500w rms powering two 12's in a sealed box to my current setup which is 2 12's in a ported box (about 1.6 cubic feet each box) powered by an 1800w rms amp and that would happen all the time lol.
Put a little bit of gorilla glue on the mounting tab on the windshield and let it sit for a few hours and you should be good to go
Yeah, i've never been able to see out of it if i'm listening to music. it gets vibrated to s**t and just aims straight down. It just got to the point where it was being vibrated enough to come off. And, don't quote me on this, but I think you're required by law to have a rear view mirror.
. ... don't quote me on this, but I think you're required by law to have a rear view mirror....
lol, i quoted you on this...that might be true based soley state by state and per vehicle, my work van doesn't have one so there must be some type of rule for requirements. never thought of taking mine off but if i did i would look it up on my states regulation web page...
im not trying highjack but maybe we can use this page for trunk speaker set up pic's??? i had two 12'' rockford fosgates and sold them and i really miss that thump but i want to try something a little more custom than two speakers sitting in a universal box... pics anyone ?
Mine does this all the time. Any way to make it stay on? It gets annoying having a hanging mirror, then putting it back on just to fall off again. I know one answer, dont listen to music as loud. BUT THATS NOT AN OPTION
Same way I feel
You could try globing some gorilla glue or something on the area where the clips slide over and "grip" the metal tab attached to the glass. The clips get loose every day, so I have to push the mirror back on to prevent it from falling down like it did.
I can tell you, it scared me a little when it dropped...
