IDK if this applies to the Impala ones as well since there is less window space, but when I drive on the highway with my windows down and then roll my windows up they sometimes aren't in the channel completely anymore.

Other than that, I love my inchannels so much more than the stick-on type that I used to have.

I've had the in-channel ones stick slightly when rolling down the window. In tern, it pulls the visor down a bit, the wind catches it, and off it goes into the median. Laughing

I ended up putting double sided tape on on one side to keep them in place. Worked like a champ for many years.

Yeah,I haven't had any problem with the "in-channel" set on my '06 XTerra, but it would seem that having to "add" double-sided tape could only make things worse, for the window, that is. Rolling Eyes

Thanx for your quick replies, and I'll patiently await more feedback. Not that yours isn't appreciated. Embarassed

EDIT; So much for my patience... Shocked

Well,I didn't get what I wanted...the in-channel's seem a lil' harder to find.At least when you don't feel like waiting for them to be ordered/shipped.

However,Pep Boys had the others for $40 a set,so that's what I went with.

I need a set of these. I have 'em on both rigs, and went in-channel on both of those. One of the Blazer's rear windows will sometimes slide down a bit, kind of like Zspot was describing, but as long as I pay attention to it, it's not a big deal. They both were MUCH more than 40-bux though!

Also with the in-channel ones (I did have both on my car) it seems I can actually have the window down further than with the stick-ons and still not get rain in.

I have the in channels and had a problem with one back visor falling down. I sent them an email and they sent me a roll of double sided tape to fix it. I have not put the new tape on yet but i am sure it will solve the problem. wasn't a huge deal to me being that I don't roll my back windows down often. I will get around to putting the new tape on later.
