I decided the trim looked a bit grey and dull so i gave it a nice black paintjob.........and some clearcoat with sparkles Very Happy. Also did the grille, impala badges and the licence plate cover.

Why didn't you paint the rear nameplate as well?

why didn't you just remove it to paint? would have saved time taping... Laughing

Edit: good job though, i've been wanting to do that to my car.

I wasn't sure how they were stuck on there, i saw some adhesive lookin thing behind it but i didnt want to risk taking it off and not being able to stick it back on again lol

You could stick em on with 3m tape...... I have also wanted to do this to my car as i like the black stripe there just dont like the plastic.

The scripts are easy to take off the car, though you would spend some extra time taking the adhesive off the car and the back of the peice, then you would have to cut and apply new 3m tape. It would be easier to paint and less leaning beside the car, though.


I took 'em off my car, thinking about taking the c-pillar logos off as well.

ive only had this car for 7 months, the guy that had it before me wasnt reallya car guy so he didnt give a s**t what condition it was in it was just a driving box for him. so thers a few dings and things that i cant fix :*(
