I have an 05 SS and had some pretty weird trans problems today. I was driving about 20 miles and after I got gas and was getting back on the highway it felt like it was slipping and it wasnt shifting gears until 4500 RPM (no I wasnt gettin on it). It was shifting kinda hard too. The fluid is clean and full. I let it sit for about 6 hours and the drive home was normal.

Any input is GREATLY appreciated, thanks.

Well these cars are known to have transmission problems... Your best bet would probably to take it to a shop and have them diagnose. My friend's did wierd shifting stuff, and turned out just to be a pressure solenoid, so you never know.

its more than likely an epc solenoid. i had mine done not to long ago. its an easy job if you dont mind getting dirty. you can change the solenoid with the trans still in the car. its a cheap and easy fix if you know how to do minor tranny work. my solenoid cost about 50 bucks i believe. had to order it off teh internetz.
