I have a HP Pavilion A288N computer. I was wondering what the part number for the OEM power supply is. I keep finding them online but i dont know if its the OEM one or an aftermarket one. Any help would be great.

It should be on the psu. Take a picture of it and the mobo, it may be able to take any atx psu.

EDIT: It looks like it uses an ATX psu... so any aftermarket 400W+ (ATX) psu will do.

If you have a Tiger Direct, Comp USA or similar store near you, bring it in and ask for their advice.

Then you can either buy one there and return it if doesn't work, or take your chances buying what you need online.

good luck Smile

Accurate information via "BlackVenom"...

I would recommend Newegg.com for your purchase. Very Happy

Yay accuracy! And +1 for the egg if OP hasn't bought one. I actually have a 460? w psu sitting around here under my bed. only used for a couple months.. couldn't boot my 8800gt power hog so i had to get a replacement.
