How hard would it be to do this and whats the best spacing and width of stripe for our cars? I have done stripes before but on a cavalier and I thought, heck if I don't like them I will just peel it off.
I want to punch myself in the taint for saying this
My oversized radiator has a nice c**k though, nice and smooth operation.
You gotta be really careful with this stuff as it's a pretty big deal and serious business. I can't imagine what would happen if i miss applied that stuff.... itd be like feeding a dog chocolate, putting a tinfoil hat on it and throwing it in the microwave for 60s.....
Just make it a 2-tone and follow the body lines along the doors at the handles. Use a credit card to "cut" the line at the masking tape to keep the plastidip from peeling when you remove the tape. It'll look good!
If you peel the tape off when it's still wet it shouldn't be a problem, it would still give the plasti-dip a chance to create an edge and adhere to the car, whereas if you cut it and peeled the tape later, you may catch a small area and when that starts lifting it'll start to bubble the whole thing.
Do it! There's not much to lose but $5 a can.
