As the title states I have a small "dent" in the rear bumper. Here's a pic.

I backed into a tie wall a year or so ago and it really just looks like crap. Is there any possible solution, or a new rear bumper?

Sorry for the crappy pic, this is on a 6 year old Cyber-shot. Sad

it can be filled and repainted if you know what you're doing. Or find a shop that knows.

I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to filling. Sad What a general price for a shop too do it?

Looks like it needs a fill in and color match paint job. Try one of your local paint and body shops.

I had to have my bumper replaced because it had a kink where someone backed into my bumper on the left corner. As long as the damage doesn't involve the protective trim strip on the corners you won't have to replace the whole thing. Per my paint and body guy.

I had all my dents and dings repaired and bumper replaced. All painted the same color in March 2011.

I just talked to a guy in my area and he said if they paint it they paint the whole thing and its about $200 depending on the part. I asked about a fender, I got some rust just after the wheel well Evil or Very Mad
