I have my pcm from Overkill and just got around to trying to install it a couple of hours ago. I unplugged the negative terminal and marked the two connectors so I wouldnt get them confused. I understand that Im supposed to have a chime and a message in my digi display but I get nothing. Has anyone else had this problem before.

Im not sure what chime your talking about but I am assuming the message your looking for is security. When I had my overkill pcm I had to do a brief security relearn for the car to start

Next time you get pulled over and you know you have illegal tint Follow these instructions: Tie a string around your power window fuse, and after you roll down your drivers window yank the fuse, which will render your windows inoperable. They can't test the film if the meter can't fit over it.

You did fully install the new PCM and reconnect the battery cables, right? Wink

There is no chime for a security relearn when you turn the key to on...you should just get the flashing SECURITY light in the message center, alternating with the battery light since the engine will not be running.

Correct. Here is the proper procedure that worked on the first try for me. I would suggest pressing the parking brake to kill the headlights. If you open the door anytime during the relearn, you will have to start over. I suggest rolling down the window.
1. Attempt to start the car by turning the key to the Start/Run Position.
2. Observe that the vehicle fails to start and that the security light is illuminated.
3. Release key to the 'ON/Accessory' Position. (DO NOT turn key to the 'off' position.)
4. Allow the vehicle to sit with the key in the 'ON/Accessory' Position for no less than 11 minutes. At the end of the 11 minutes, the security light will shut off and the battery light will stay solid, same with security light.
5. Turn key to off position and allow the vehicle to remain in the 'OFF' position for no less than 30 seconds.
6. Repeat #1 - #5 for 3 cycles.
7. On 4th attempt, car should start.

The CASE learn and security relearn are two completely different things. If you need a case learn, try to find a local with a tuner or an Aeroforce gauge and save yourself 90 bucks.

I opened the door several times during my relearn. Started right up at the end.
