I'll let the pics do the talking, since there's too much to talk about!

For those that didn't know, we did an engine swap last fall and we decided to paint the engine bay while it was still empty!

The old windshield was cracked so we opted to go get a new one!
$85 for the glass and about $20 for 3M's Windo-Weld

As far as any errors, there were 2 runs in the color and 1 in the clear, the clear was on the drivers side door handle, will probably fix that. One of the color runs in completely un-noticeable on the edge of one if the bottom side moldings. The other will bother me until I die, front and center where the emblem goes on between the headlights. It's a horizontal run. I probably will just deal with it though as I'm tired of all this body work for now.

Wow, very nice job, man! How long did it take you?

And, how does that compare to your Imp?

The love note on the side of the car was cute.

Thanks for all the comments! And as far as time, it was probably about 6 days, around 10-14 hours a day. A LOT of labor, would have been easier if most of the bolts weren't rusted on, but that's what we get for living in Michigan.

Compared to the Impala?
Ride wise: The Impala is crazy quiet compared to it, although being a convertible doesn't help acoustics at all. Even our 96 regal is pretty loud inside. Comfort is pretty good in it, a little bumpy, but that's because the verts all got a "sport tuned suspension"

Speed: The Impala is pretty quick compared to it, even though that L67 is really quick, the high compression in my block with the high output of the Gen V blower seems to really speed mine up a bit. Also I think that trans in her car is geared a little slower too. It was the stock one from the GTP. Her car is pretty much a 100% stock L67, it's even still using the her stock 1st gen air filter which probably isn't helping it go much faster. Maybe we'll post a video some day of both cars.

Turned out much better than I would've expected. Two things though.

1) I wouldn't be surprised if some of that rust is back within a year.
2) All that work and you painted the wheel weights.
