Somewhere on here awhile ago there was a link. And on this magical link was specs and a cut open view of about 15 different oil filters. If anyone remembers where it is could you repost it here for me. Thanks in advance. Its time for an oil change and need a good filter. And I hope the site gets back to normal soon so I can search for stuff by myself.

Compare a Fram to almost any lower priced filter and you'll wonder why Fram charges so much. Last time I checked, cardboard was cheaper than metal, but Fram charges almost twice as much as a Purolator classic that uses metal endcaps, and better filter media. With Fram you're paying for advertising. Pretty much any other filter will be fine.

I like Amsoil or Mann or Wix in that order............ Very Happy
