No, that's a pretty terrible idea. Uhaul trucks are not designed to transport vehicles inside. If you really want to, get a trailer and tow behind the truck.

physically it will fit but there is no way to secure or strap the vehicle down for transport. If you notice when a car is moved on a flatbed they strap the vehicle down so it doesn't move around when the truck is moving down the road. If you make a sudden stop or sharp turn you could love the vehicle or even your life.

A guy I knew moved a forklift in the back of his 5 tonne straight truck. Someone pulled out in front and the load shifted. He crushed the front of his box and the back of his cab and ended up going off the road. Not worth it to save a couple of $$

having had my own cubevan few years ago. even if you strap down the car to the side walls if you have to slam the brakes(when your in a cubevan they always cut you off so u have to hit the brakes) youll rip those walls apart and youll be dead cause that car will be half way out the windshield.
Dont do it.. oh and if a cop pulls you over, have fun with explaining a full size vehicle in the back lol cuase they check the load and make sure its secure, which their is no way you could secure it safely.

Not to mention the high centwer of gravity. With the weight of a car that far up, that truck will be laying on it's side in the first curve.

Yeah, they used to call them car dollys (two wheels only). I have used one. Trailer is ideal, but dolley is usually cheaper.

Be careful with the U-Haul trailers too. A lot of them have really crappy tires on them and they do not give you a spare.
One time I had to haul my 86 Buick Regal from Las Vegas back to Salt Lake City.
I was in a hurry to get home because the car broke down and I had to be to work the next morning. I loaded the car up and took off going 70 - 90 MPH most
of the way, about 300 miles into the trip at 1:00 A.M. one of the trailer tires disintegrated.

I ended up leaving the car and trailer on the side of I-15 because no one at U-Haul would come out and fix me up with a new tire/wheel until the next day.

I had to drive back 90 miles the next day to retrieve the car and trailer, needless to say U-Haul still had not come to fix the tire. I had to drive back the to closest
town and go to a tire shop and get a tire/wheel and go fix it myself. Luckily U-Haul did pay for the new tire/wheel.

Bottom line here. Their trailers have crappy tires quite often so take your time and drive it slow if you use a rental trailer.

Correction. U-haul is a terrible choice for anything but local moves. The trucks are always beaten to hell and have a million miles on them. When I moved from Chicago to Nashville, I rented a Penske truck. It cost quite a bit more, but having a relatively new, reliable truck was worth every penny.
