Alright new member here. Checked out forums forever finally joined. Ive searched forever on making my own FWI. I am not able to get abs pipe in my area. Wondering if there is anything that will substitute it. I have the 3" rubber coupler, Spectre Air filter. Still need the pipe. Found a 3" id 45 degree Spectre street elbow at autozone. Any advice would really be appreciated been wanting to do this for a while. 2005 imp. 3.4
you can use aluminum, some parts shops carry small lengths for CAI building. You can also use steel, but you will want to paint it. You can get that at an exhaust shop. Stainless is more $$, but you can polish it.
Spectre makes a thin wall aluminum tube. Look into that also
If this setup will work or I need to make changes let me know please getting ready to get the parts.
Its 3" coupler connected to 3" outer di. pipe to 3" elbow and airfilter has clasp to connect to elbow.
