The fan of my car started working only on 5 last year, so I went to a shop and had the blower resistor replaced, three months ago. It has been good until last week. Luckily it was under warranty so the shop replaced it for free. But they suggested me to change the blower motor also. I did not agree to do that. So they said if that fails again, they will not fix it for free since they think it is the problem of blower motor.
It is possible since there was leaking rain found on the passenger side and I used one part from dealer to dilute the water then no more water.
Should I have the blower motor replaced? Or wait until next time the blower resistor fails?
BTW, what is the suggested brand for the resistor and motor? Where to buy?

Mine did the same thing. I didn't replace my motor. I went through 3 resistors.
All under warranty from Autozone. They each failed within a month. Finally after the 3rd resistor it's been running for over 2-3 years. Can't remember exactly when it failed.
