Joined the Darkside did we? Laughing Welcome to the club. Could always do what I did. My plate holder was all warped and messed up and Im too cheap to get a new one. So i took it off and just ziptied my Plate to the lower grille. Looks better than the holder imo, but still rather I didnt need a front.

Looks better with the plate not mounted out on the bumper anyway.

Do you notice it runs warmer that way?

Maybe he didn't want a 6 year old car... or maybe he wanted a warranty... or he maybe he wanted something different.

Well when you are only 22 with a low end job and not much saved up you cant be picky. Besides they had an SS but it was without warranty. This one still has another 30k miles on the drivetrain and that is what i am more concerned about.

Ill snap a few more pictures today when i take her for a spin. I do like that license plate look though, ill look around at work and see if there is a better way to go about it without zipties.

You could easily use some bolts and fender washers to do it. I just used zipties so if it looked retarded It would be easy to remove, and I have a bout a million zipties anyways. I've just never got around to remounting it with something different.

Since the plate sits mostly in front of the grille anyways with the bracket, I've noticed 0 difference in Temp.

Showed up to work to see this pretty picture when the ice melted off the windshield.

No crack or bump on the inside or outside, but didnt even see it happen or hear anything when driving. So i am wondering how else could it have happened. But then again, the roads here have been bad since the "god awful blizzard" so it could be from a pothole debris or something.

Yeah, before I decided to give up on the front plate completely, I had mine zip-tied over the lower grille. It fit's perfectly and IMHO I think it looks better.
