Hello!

I'd been on the lookout for a 2000-05 Impala parts car, and happened upon this:

I've never heard of an "Indy" SS before; assuming that it's just a 'sticker package' and nothing terribly valuable. But I could be wrong...?

Needless to say, it's doesn't have many (if any?) body parts to offer, which is what I was mostly after. But the motor and tranny are supposedly OK - odometer shows 120K. Also, all the "Indy-specific" parts seem to be there and intact.

So, basically, my question is: if I could get it for a few hundred bucks, should I anticipate interest in any of the remaining parts (Craigslist, eBay, etc) - or, more generally, would it be worth it? I don't really need anything off it, but I'd consider buying it to part out if there was some value there.

Any advice would be appreciated Smile

You would make a good amount of money parting that Indy SS out if you get it for a few hundred bucks.

Id like to call dibs on the
-Indy Grill
-SS Spoiler
-Seats If they are tan

Cool

Interior is grey leather with Indy insignia stitched into the headrests and woven into the floormats. I didn't examine it closely, but it looked OK from what I saw. Since the windows are absent, I assume it'll be at least a little damp (has been snowing around here in the past weeks). Strangely enough, the airbags were undeployed Rolling Eyes

As for rims: I believe 3 of the 4 are OK, with the driver's rear being bent. But if they're the same as "regular" SS rims, I know where I can grab a single to replace it.

Not really surprising... the car wasn't impacted on the airbag sensor...

The 05 SS rims are the same as the Indy rims (chrome), the 04 SS rims are not

The one I'm thinking of isn't chrome. So in that case, no match.

I would snag it. You can sell the headrests for a decent price alone. Morad sells them for 250$..you can (reasonably) get probably about 100 for them alone, plus the interior door panels/carbon fiber trim about another 100 or 120, along with the other parts you can snag.
