Hey guys, I got some really bad condensation on my right side headlight. Any idea's on what to do? To me it looks like it might be a leak somewhere close to where the wires for the HID's run through. I thought about getting the air compressor and blowing everything out of them and then trying to look at the dust cover more. Any idea's?

Are you working with the stock lights or the projectors? Either way, did you run the wires through the dust caps? If so, you could try getting some silicone or something similar to seal up the cap.

You could try drilling a small hole on the bottom of the headlight as a drain. I ran my wires through the dust covers and didnt seal them, the only times I have any condensation is when I'm washing the car, they're fine otherwise.

Nope, the holes in the dust cover dry it out naturally. But others have drilled their lights with great results.

I have another dust cover in the garage that i might installing on the headlight and see if it slows the condensation or hopefully gets rid of it.

I drilled 2 or 3 holes, 1/2" diameter in the bottom of mine a couple years ago. No problems since.

Hmm, I put a different dust cover on it and blew out most of the moisture out of the headlight so its way better than it was.

Condesation stayed good for awhile now. I washed the car yesterday and it went back to condensating pretty well. I guess im going to have to drill holes in the bottom of the housing... Does anyone possibly have pictures of it done on their headlights?

I wish I had pictures to share.
The bottom of the headlight assembly is pretty flat.
As I recall, I used a Forster(?) bit. About 1/2" diameter.
I put at least two holes in the bottom, roughly in between the 3 lenses.

Hmm... Im going to try to stick it in the oven at about 125 degree's and see if i can get ride of the moisture inside the headlight that way then go from there.
