I know the square is my MAF? I don't think I replaced the IAC.

Note the pintle won't be as clean. It will almost be black. Atleast mine was.

You are going to need some security torx bits to get it out. I got a massive set of bits from Autozone for 10 bucks or so.

I had to take out my MAF and loosen a bolt behind it to gain access to the bottom screw of the IAC. Maybe I was just being retarded that day but it was in the way. Mine was nasty and causing problems. Got one at Autozone for less than $30. Napa had the same part for around $50.

Did it run significantly better after the new one was installed?

Update: I bought a IAC for $30 and installed it. Kind of a bitch too put on. One of the screws is in an akward position. I disconnected the battery a waiting a while then I'll start and see how it runs.
