What would an 05 ss run in the 1/4 mile with a 3.4 pulley, overkill pcm, headers, AL 104's, 180 tstat, PRJ wires?

And could it beat or be up to par with a stock 06-07 Monte Carlo SS? Thank you.

It could be low 14's or high 16's depending on so many factors... especially the traction and the driver

There is only one way to find out... take it to the track and get a timeslip

im gonna guess 14.3 - 14.5 if traction and driver are there Wink

Man that sucks. I would have thought a 3.4 w/ supporting mods would get it in the high 13's. Sad

Ummm... no

Here's a decently modded 04 SS that ran 14.56
http://www.naioa.com/v2/module.....mp;CID=954

and here's a 14.75
http://www.naioa.com/v2/module.....mp;CID=284

Unfortunately, the SS isn't fast...

You'd probably really be pushing to hit 300 crank hp out of a modded SS, but the cars we see a lot of 1/4 times for (charger, challenger, camaro, mustang) have at least an additional 100 horses and standard transmissions.

I don't think anybody on this forum makes more HP from an 00-05 wbody than Niteflight, and he doesn't stop by often anymore.

I ran a 14.8 with a great struggle for traction.
Running 3.5 pulley, AP104, 3in DP, Wizaird intake, Intense PCM, etc
Running Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons, dropped air pressure down to about 26 to get a DECENT launch, but I still had to count to about 2 before pushing to wide open throttle.
