2003 Chevrolet Impala

Well, I meant to post these a couple weeks ago when I did this but never found time. Put new rotors and pads on all the way around. Decided I'd take the calipers off and paint them while in the process. Here is one of them put back on.

Also put in a FWI while I was at it and did a little painting under the hood. I think I had the most fun with the engine cover though. What do you'll think about how it turned out?

And, yeah, I realize I take lousy pics...

And the newest addition (this weekend). It seems a deer was fond of my car and decided a collision would be a good idea. Sad Although I guess this means halo lights for me, so maybe it will be for the best. Also wanting to change the look of the front. Does anyone know of any after market bumper covers that look nice on the impala? I've been searching around but with limited pictures and watermarks all over them its hard to tell how well they fit or even look.

Thank you. And, as for the deer, I'm feeling better about it each day. I know it isn't that much damage and it could have been a lot worse, as I've seen people total cars from hitting deer before. However, the day it happened my family kept saying I got off lucky, it isn't that bad, etc., but I just wasn't up for hearing that at the time.

I am still debating on that. Was wanting to do it but wasn't sure how it would turn out. Will probably just do it when I get a chance and just paint it back black if I don't like it. I also need to finish trimming the cover piece where the intake pipe goes into the fender so that it fits better and seal it up.Probably going to polish a few more things as well. Then I want to sand down the side molding and paint it white and paint the tail lights white as well. My big thing right now is just waiting for some spare time. Between going to school full time and working full time its hard to find the time to do what I want to do.

its not the slots that matter as much as the direction of the veins in the middle of the rotor. The slots will work either way, but the veins need to keep the rotor cool and need to be facing the right way.

Regarding those braces you painted...are the bolts "fixed" or do you need to get underneath them to uninstall/reinstall them?

Thanx
