About a month ago I totaled my Navy Blue 2001. I was really bummed. It was in excellent condition and just turned 100K miles. So, of course I had to get another one and found another 2001 base in excellent condition, except in Silver and only 88K miles. Luckily I kept the wheels off the blue one so I could ditch the hubcaps on this one too.

RIP Old Blue

Hello Silver! Only plans for it are to remove the Onstar antenna and tint the windows.

Factory GM wheels off a 1999 Grand Prix Big Thumbs Up You usually see these wheels painted silver, but they also offered them polished. Sure beats the hubcaps Very Happy

hi ho, silver! nice ride, glad you stayed in the GM family, and the GP rims are classic and look great on the impala. is silver similarly equipped as old blue was?

Love that generation in silver! Plus, it's the only color that the black trim doesn't look bad on! Sharp car!

I actually like the rims on the silver better than on the blue!

Thanks everyone. The car is in excellent condition. The interior also looks like new. It truly was a little old lady's car. So far I am very happy with it, and I got a great deal on it too! Hopefully it will last me a lot longer than the blue one, since I only had it a little over a year. This car is almost exactly like my blue one, except the blue one didn't have the now worthless Onstar.

Thanks, I really liked them on the blue car, but they do look great on this one too. Those Monte SS wheels would look really nice on this too Wink

I figured the rims were bonneville rims, but all in the same (pontiac)

Those Grand Prix wheels totally change the look of the car to awesome. Glad you stuck with another Impala. Congrats!

Looks fantastic! Athough I have too say that the blue look really good as well. Maybe the idiots on the road will spot the silver better. Sad Those GP wheels look really good, better than the other GP five spoke design.

They may be up for sale this summer. I'm thinking about upgrading to fill the wheel well. That being said, the tires will probably go with it.
