Blessing in disguise. I'd say you could have posted this in your last thread, but I get the impression it got locked.

Well, we know you had your heart set on it, so that does suck.... but IMO, you are better off... find something unmolested or modded the right way and you will be far happier in the long run

You know I choose to believe now that maybe it is for my best interest that I didn't get it. Just wish I didn't tell everyone at school.lol

It happens. There are much easier ways to get a car though.

For instance. I bought my mom a canary for her birthday. She got me the SS. Very Happy

But also the insurance would be killing you if you got it. Something about a kid in high school, the performance model of a car, a supercharged engine, just screams out high cost.

Well I know it sucks, but maybe it's for the better. You can still get another, more practical car now. First cars aren't usually the best, but you still have fun with them. Twisted Evil

Yeah you're right about the insurance being high. I guess it's back to the regular impala over here by me.

Good move. Let the bird chirp her sanity away, and then convince her in her weakened mental state, to buy you a car! Laughing

Best bet is first car to be a beater. You are almost guaranteed to wreck it, do something stupid to it, and not really be able to take care of it properly simply for the fact that is your first car and you really don't know what you are doing! I did all of the above! Laughing

It worked though.
Went to the pet store. She wanted it, so I said I would get it.
Saw the SS sitting in the dealers lot, looked. I got the famous parent "We'll see.."

A week later, bought the bird. 3 days later, came home with a new car. Laughing

So if you bought them a car, would they buy you a house? Laughing

lol I'll concur that.

The thing is that the other impala I was looking at, the dealership is asking for just as much and it doesn't even have as much. I'm not sure if I even want an impala anymore.
